Oy Silvadata Ab and MHG Systems have signed a cooperation agreement on the development and marketing of mobile applications for forest management associations.
The innovative and map-based mobile application, which is designed for forest workers and contractors, is now complete. The MHG Silvadata Plugin service, which connects the MHG Mobile application seamlessly to Silvadata’s systems, was introduced to forest management association employees in Oulu, Finland, on 8 August 2014.
Among the first users of the service has been the Forest Management Association of Northern Karelia, which also contributed significantly to the development cooperation. ”Once we overcame the early challenges, the user experiences have been very positive – for both office and forest workers. We have achieved significant time and cost savings,” says Field Manager Mika Lappalainen from Joensuu.
