Elima AB announces that the world´s No 1. forestry fair, Elmia Wood, will be launched May 18-21 in 2021.

Elmia Wood is an international fair for the entire forestry industry. It is a meeting place held in the woods. Where everyone, from the idea stage to the finished products and machines, has the opportunity to be represented.

2019 02 28 081615-The dates 18-21 May 2021 means that Elmia Wood will be placed during normal weekdays. The fair does not interfere with religious celebrations or red calendar days. We also do not want to collide with other arrangements with forest connection, it does not benefit anyone. When the fair is held in May, it also opens up opportunities linked to educational institutions, when the semesters still are in progress, explains Mattias Pontén, Project Manager and fair manager for Elmia Wood.

Elmia has long experience of arranging forest fairs in the forest. The first fair was launched in 1975. The fair's content is developing togehter with the world's forest industry, and the planning is already in progress.

Elmia Wood is the world’s leading forestry fair and is held every four years outdoors in the forests south of Jönköping, Sweden. The last Elmia Wood (2017) had over 500 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors from around the world and was widely reported on by the international trade press. On 18–21 May 2021 the global forest industry will meet again.
